The TAIMEN River Wolf Warriors came back from the first annual Chattanooga Corporate Challenge with some shiny new office decor!
Taking home 3rd Place overall in the inaugural event! 🏆
What a week it has been in Freight Alley with the kickoff of a new community event on it's way to becoming a new Chattanooga tradition!
Right in time for the Olympic spirit, the challenge was three full days of competitions culminating in a huge Field Day event at Finley Stadium and First Horizon Pavilion downtown.
Just two weeks out from the competition, the River Wolf Warriors hadn't even heard of the Chattanooga Corporate Challenge. TAIMEN doesn't back down from a challenge, even on short notice, so we got right to work.
Our marketing and technology team began designing an award winning jersey, and 14th street turned into a race track as we started practicing for the 40 yard dash. The office roof became the training ground for our elite cornhole players as we assembled our event teams.
We started off strong with podium finishes in the first two events!
- 3rd Place results in Trivia Thursday night
- 3rd Place again the next day on the lanes at the Bowling competition
The main event Saturday kicked off with River Wolves Ryan Daniels and Ryan Swain competing in the 5K and President Brian Whitley representing TAIMEN in the 1 Mile Charity walk for Big Brothers Big Sisters.
Our booth in the Pavilion converted to our own River Wolf Den filled with TAIMEN employees and family members, the DJ rocking and food trucks cooking - the vibes were high for a day of winning!
After a razor close win in the home run derby, TAIMEN's legendary cornhole team swept the competition with ease - winning 1st Place overall on the boards, putting us back in the running. Finally a 2nd Place finish in the 40 yard dash and another 1st Place finish in the Puzzle Challenge sent TAIMEN to the podium with a Bronze 3rd Place Trophy for the overall tournament!
TAIMEN's clutch short notice performance was nothing short of amazing, but bronze isn't good enough for champions. That's why the River Wolves have already started organizing strategies and training regiments for 2025 including group workouts in our office gym, tug of war simulations, in office tournaments and more.
